Bookings now being taken…
New guidelines have been published on 22nd April 2015 that have wide ranging implications on the provision of sedation training. The Intercollegiate Advisory Committee for Sedation in Dentistry (IACSD) have published the first revision in sedation standards since 2003 and this dramatically affects the provision of sedation training.
Existing Sedation Providers (Dentists)
You are suitable to attend our course and this will update your vCPD in sedation in accordance with GDC guidelines
Every dentist carrying out sedation needs 12 hours vCPD in sedation per 5 year cycle and our course provides 6 hours of this
Dentists NEW to sedation
The new guidelines mean that you will need to attend a course specifically for new sedation dentists which is approved by the IACSD
Currently there are a few independent courses for this outside the university system so if you are a dentist new to sedation you will need to find a suitable course. Our course is for existing sedation dentists NOT new trainees.
Existing Sedation Nurses
